Certain situations are best dealt with by excluding burds totally with the erection of a physical barrier. It is for this reason that we developed "Spectre-Net" netting installations.
The base material is manufactured from a monofilament polyethylene that is black in colour. The mesh is constructed with a 10 mm square aperture, which allows through approximately 95% of natural light. The colour and construction are the properties that make it exceptionally suited to this application, in that, from a distance of no more than a couple of metres, it is virtually transparent.
This makes it particularly useful where it is necessary to exclude birds from areas of aesthetic significance as it hardly detracts at all from the appearance of a building.
"Spectre-Net" is perfect for bird exclusion from:
- Balconies
- Multi-storey car parks
- Light wells
- Air-conditioning plant
- Box gutters.
There is no doubt that our expertise in such exercises exceeds that of any other service provider. Each site is measured to millimetric accuracy and then the nets are manufactured off-site by applying a polyester webbing border to the perimeter of the cut panel. Often, these installations require stainless steel cabling and special tensioners to support them, or our unique clips for fastening to metal beams. Sometimes it is necessary for us to construct galvanised metal framework or even insert zippers to permit access for maintenance staff into enclosed areas.
Whatever the situation, you can be sure of a professionally finished installation backed by our three-year repair or replacement warranty. Admittedly, we are not the cheapest, but then quality rarely is!
